Mark Grindle - Writing for Interactive Entertainment Mentor
Mark has been script writing mentor for the prestigious Dare to be Digital prototype development scheme since 2003 (now supported by Channel 4 and Winner of Develop Magaizine's Best New Talent Award). He trained at University of California Los Angeles' Graduate Screenwriting Programme and has enjoyed considerable success as Screenwriter, Script Editor and Producer on both sides of the Atlantic since 1980 with over 200 hours of credits to his name. Mark developed two games prototypes in 1997 with the support of BBC and European Media Programme. He has since written for Visual Science and just completed a ten part episodic adventure game for 7-12 year olds for Software Company Crocodile Clips. His company Mark Grindle Associates Ltd specialises in interactive downloadable episodic adventure series. Mark devised and teaches Masters' Level courses in Writing and Producing Interactive Entertainment at School of Creative Industries in Edinburgh and is visting lecturer in writing and concept development at University of Abertay, Dundee.
Grant Clarke - Interaction Design Mentor
Grant has been programming mentor for the prestigious Dare to be Digital prototype development scheme since 2005 (now supported by Channel 4 and Winner of Develop Magaizine's Best New Talent Award). He worked at Visual Science as Senior Programmer and now runs Rogue Element Studios developing story based episodic games. Grant also lectures at University of Abertay Dundee
Ken Fee - Art Mentor (TBC)
Grant has been Art mentor for the prestigious Dare to be Digital prototype development scheme since 2005 (now supported by Channel 4 and Winner of Develop Magaizine's Best New Talent Award). His previous credits include:
